Colder Weather, Race Tomorrow, Sister's B-day

So...it's becoming that time of year where we all freeze and complain about the cold :(  Personally, if I never saw snow again or the temperature below 70 degrees I'd be quite happy with that! I mean yeah, I live in Tennessee where it hardly ever snows, but you know what's worse than that, having weather that's cold enough to snow but there is never enough 'moisture' in the air for it to do so. So if any one who lives in Hawaii or the Caribbean would like to put me up, I'd be the best roommate :) (just kidding...kind of...)

Ahh, the good old times. This was last May, at a beach in South Carolina with my sister. My dad lives here but sadly all I can do for now is visit :/

Anyways, tomorrow is the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer 5k! And as I mentioned in my very first post, I LOVE running! I know it's only a 5k but it's for an amazing cause. My mom is a breast cancer survivor and my dad's mom passed away from it when I was only 3. So obviously, this is something that has hugely impacted my family and I. I love running, especially for a good cause! I'm hoping to do a sub -28:00 but we'll see :)  I'm not the fastest runner, but I never quit! My goal for 2014 is to run a half marathon. I'm over half way there so I know I can do it! Also, there's a race in February called the Hot Chocolate 15k and I'm hoping I'll be able to do that as well. I'll post more on the race with pics tomorrow!

And today is the 25th which means my baby sister's birthday. Omg...my youngest sister  turns 19 today...I'm so old :(  I guess today will be my treat day before halloween. We're having red velvet cupcakes (her fav) so I'll just have one.

Introduction :)

Hello all who may randomly stumble upon my blog! My name is Cheyenne and I'm going to use this space to pretty much talk about things and going-ons in my life. But first, a little about me:

 I'm 24 and I recently graduated college last spring (ehhh still on the hunt for a job but what can I do?)

I have 3 younger sisters whom I love hanging out with so much but it can be difficult seeing as how we are all adults and on our own schedules all the time :(

 I spend too much time watching videos on youtube but honestly, who doesn't?

I'm a vegetarian, and I have been for almost 3 years now (and actually was vegan for 1.5 yrs but that's another blog post).

I love cats and own 4 of them (well technically 1 but my sister has 3 and I usually have to clean up after hers as well).

I absolutely LOVE running! It is my passion, therapy session, and break from reality.

I am a Christian and value my relationship with Christ over everything else in life.

My favorite time of year is Summer and I would live on the beach if I could.

I want to travel the world, I'd love to go to England or Australia (I have a thing for accents hehe)

My favorite singer in the entire world is Ed Sheeran :) I love his gingery-ness and I was so fortunate to get to see him live earlier this year :D (I guess now would be a good time to mention I also have a weird obsession w gingers...)

I am biracial (my father is black and my mother is white) and I love being unique!
